We are very saddened to hear of the death of Honourable Kojo Armah former Member of Parliament for Evalue-Gwira on the ticket of the Convention people`s Party (CPP) which sad event occurred during the early hours of Sunday 4th May, 2014.

With heartfelt sympathy and understanding thoughts in this time of sadness we offer our sincere condolences to the bereaved family and all of the community members.

Brief Profile:
Hon. Armah was born on November 27th, 1950 in Axim, (Nzema East District). He attended Apam Secondary School, and pursued his tertiary education at the University of Ghana, Legon.
A catholic by faith, the Bible had an early, profound influence on Mr. Armah, and it would remain a lifetime source of inspiration, coloring his life and works with intense spirituality.

Mr. Kojo Armah was a wonderful person whose love knew no boundaries. He was a very well-liked civil servant and strong advocate for education and welfare of the girl child. He was also very interactive with the youth from all aspects of life.

As a strong Nkrumaist, he was a member of the?Convention People Party`s, Hon. Kojo Armah became a Parliamentarian in the year 1996 – 2000 and returned in year 2004 – 2008.
He also served as the District Chief Executive Officer of the Nzema East District from year 2000 – 2004. He was a Legal Practitioner by profession, and he also doubled as the Managing Director of the local FM station Ankobra Fm 100.9 based in Axim.

His passing to us was a sad event, but so many rich things came from his life.
Mr. Armah left behind a wife and three children. To his Family we pray that the Good Lord look after you in these difficult times. Accept our hearty condolences.
