Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi has expressed his optimism of his outfit landing a sponsorship deal ahead of the start of the Ghana Premier League.

The Ghana Premier League is currently without a headline sponsor following First Capital Plus Bank now Capital Bank decision to suspend their sponsorship due to their internal res-structuring.

The decision of the financial institution startled the football world as they had a sign a five-year contract with the federation.

But the Ghana FA Boss has revealed that they are sure of securing a new sponsor ahead of the kick start of the Ghana Premier League expected to start next month.

In an interview on Storm FM in Sunyani, Kwesi Nyantyi said his is confident that his outfit will land a sponsorship deal before the league commences.

“For now we don’t have a sponsor but we are still searching for one, we are optimistic that before the league takes off we will get headline sponsor for the league,” Nyantakyi told Sunyani-based Storm FM.
