The former Information Minister in the erstwhile Kufuor administration, Stephen Asamoah-Boateng has strongly denied reports that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had a secret meeting with Nigerian prophet, T.B Joshua.

The Daily Post newspaper claimed that Nana Addo secretly sought spiritual fortification from the man of God when he came to Ghana for the late president?s funeral. The late President Mills was a close friend of Prophet T.B Joshua, an association his political opponents criticized.

Editor of the Daily Post newspaper, Mike Dokosi in his publication described Nana Addo?s reported visit to the prophet as hypocritical.

But speaking on XYZ News, Mr. Asamoah Boateng said there was no such visit describing the publication as a complete fabrication.

?I can tell you that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has not met Prophet T.B Joshua. Anybody from the NPP who wants to meet the man of God comes through me?. Asamoah-Boateng said adding ?I am telling you on authority that Mike Dokosi is fabricating the story and should be ashamed of himself?.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mike Dokosi the editor of the Daily Post newspaper in a reaction says he still stands by his publication.

In an interview with XYZ News he said will come out with proof in due time.

?For me I do know for a fact that Nana Akufo went to see T.B Joshua. He Asamoah-Boateng was part of the entourage. If he is denying it events later will prove me right?.
