DAMASCUS — Russian airstrikes over the past five days have destroyed 1,000 tankers of stolen crude oil the Islamic State (IS) group was moving in the countryside of Syria’s northern province of al-Raqqa, state news agency SANA reported on Monday.

SEOUL — A U.S. military helicopter crashed in the east region of South Korea Monday, killing two pilots aboard, Yonhap news agency reported citing the police.

SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir — All seven people were killed on Monday after a chopper carrying Hindu pilgrims crashed in Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said.
