ANKARA — Eleven militants of the outlawed Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK) were killed in military operations by the Turkish security forces on Thursday, said a Turkish official statement on Friday.
The Turkish army staged the operations in fight against the camps of the PKK rebels in Cizre and Silopi towns of Sirnak province bordering northern Iraq, killing at least 11 PKK militants, said the statement released by Sirnak governor’s office. (Turkey-PKK)

JERUSALEM — Two Israelis were killed in a shooting attack near Hebron in the West Bank on Friday, the Israeli police and military said.
The attack took place on route 60 in the West Bank, near the Jewish settlement of Otniel in the southern Judean Mountains, south of West Bank city of Hebron, police spokeswoman Luba Samri said in a statement. (Israel-Attack)

DAMASCUS — At least four foreign militants with the Islamic State (IS), likely including the notorious “Jihadi John,” were killed in U.S.-led airstrikes in Syria’s northern province of al-Raqqa, the de facto capital of IS, a monitor group reported Friday.
