Croatia international Nikola Kalinic is close to moving from Fiorentina to AC Milan, and reportedly at a Milanese clinic to undergo medical tests Monday.

The transfer of the 29-year-old striker, after two seasons in Florence, was expected since he did not show up for the last training sessions at the Fiorentina camp and did not play Sunday's season opener, which La Viola lost 3-0 at Inter Milan.

Kalinic scored 27 goals in 69 league appearances with Fiorentina. He was scheduled to sign with the Rossoneri Tuesday, transferring in a 25 million euros (29.5 million dollars) deal.
