ChibokOne of the Special Advisers to President Goodluck Jonath, Reno Omokri has tweeted that the Sambisa Forest where the abducted school students where kept was bigger than Lagos State.

It will be recalled that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau on Monday, released a video showing some of the girls kidnapped at a government secondary school in Chibok, Borno State on April 14.

In the video, Shekau announced that the kidnapped girls had been converted to Islam. He also threatened not to release them until some of their members in Nigerian jails are set free.

Also, reports have indicated that the students have been shared into three.

Omokri on his twitter handle, @renoomokri, urged Nigerians to boost the morale of Nigerian Army through their words.

He noted that the soldiers needed to be commended and not humiliated.

“Sambisa Forest is larger than the entire state of Lagos. Visualize that and you will better understand what our military is dealing with,” he tweeted.

Also, Senator Bukola Saraki has chided President Goodluck Jonathan for not visiting Chibok, where the girls were kidnapped.

Saraki noted that his visitation would encourage troops designated to the area.

He also said it will give confidence to the parents of the missing children.

He said on his tweeter handle, “A Visit to Chibok by Mr. President would have improved troop morale & reassured parents of efforts to #BringBackOurGirls.”
