Dogara said this in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city during his presentation of the draft legislative agenda of the House.
He said the lower chamber would be committed to the use of ICT in the daily conduct of legislative activities.
According to him, e-parliament and e-voting platforms will be made regular features of the House.
He told his audience that e-voting will be used regularly during voting to properly reflect voting records of members and parliamentary accountability.
He said the House shall collaborate with relevant stakeholders to achieve the goal of an e-parliament.
Dogara said the e-parliament initiative would operate on the platform of modern and up-to-date digital technology. Enditem
