He told his audience that he was in the state to sympathize with the state government, Emirate Council and the entire people of the state on the recent fire outbreak at the Abubakar Rimi Market.

The vice president pledged to assist victims of the fire disaster in Kano state.

More than 3,800 shops were burned down, and property estimated at millions of Naira was lost to the inferno.

He said the federal government would help in every way to support the affected traders to rebuild their shops so as to resume businesses. Enditem
