Chairman of the Premier League Board, Welbeck Abra Appiah, disclosed this at the launch of the FCP league at the Ghana Football Association headquarters in Accra.

The system will provide details of registered players, accurate league table, number of goals by players and their registered shirt numbers.

He said ??we have been able to acquire a new software called Competition Management System. Amongst these innovations include the introduction of a Competition Management System which will help in gathering data of goals scored, cautions, assists and other statistics online.

“This will curb situations whereby a player will say he scored for instance 15 goals but have nine goals to his name- hence the introduction of this system??.

The League which was expected to begin last September will see Asante Kotoko open her defense against previous winners, Aduana Stars at the Agemang Badu park, Dormaa.
