The colourful ceremony was an opportunity for the company to recognize and thank the people who translated the commitments of the company into reality.

NestleThe company also used the occasion to educate its key distributors and wholesalers on taxation, financial management systems, and performance grading modalities.

The event was also used to remind its customers of its ambition to become the leading company in nutrition, health, and wellness.

Mrs. Freda Y. Duplan, Managing Director for Nestle Ghana, commended customers for their commitment to ensuring that their healthy and tastier choice of products gets to their consumers.

Nestle, she said, was committed to excelling with customers who formed a valuable part of the value chain of the company, to ensure satisfaction adding that the customer was an essential part of our value chain.

Mrs Duplan said the company has made it through the tireless efforts of the people they worked with and mentioned farmers, who provide the raw materials for their sustained production, their shareholders and customers.

“Nestle believes in long-term sustainability of business and society, that is why we have been increasingly committed to creating shared valued”, she said.

Mrs Duplan said integrating business opportunities and the needs of the society was their business – where successes of society and economic activities were intimately intertwined and mutually reinforced.

This, she said, will lead to a more effective, collective action to address some of society’s deepest concerns and challenges -from farm to fork- and also help the company understand the needs of farmers and train them accordingly to satisfy the quality needs of their customers.

Mr Fernando Chandana, National Sales Manager for Nestle Ghana, said all round the world, the company has attributed its successes in its 150 years, to its customers and consumers who have been loyal to the company’s various brands.

As part of the celebration, customers were given an overview and outlook of the company’s commitment to continuously deliver quality and affordable products to consumers.

In Ghana, nestle sells a range of products like Ideal Milk, Carnation Milk, Milo, Cerelac, Maggi Nido, Nescafe, Milo Cereal etc.
