The flag bearer of the Progressive People?s Party (PPP) together with national executives of the party were yesterday mobbed at Walewale and Savelugu in the Northern Region as part of their campaign tour in the Northern, Brong Ahafo and Upper East Regions.

Dr. Nduom used the tour to appeal to Ghanaians in parts of the Brong Ahafo, Northern and Upper East Region to vote for the party for it to implement its human-centered and development programmes.

According to him, a vote for the PPP will bring about a marked improvement in their lives.

Dr. Nduom said this while addressing the party?s polling station executives and residents in Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo Region where Dr. Nduom and his team first visited as part of their tour in the region.

He went on to advise voters in the area not to waste their votes on political parties that have had the opportunity to win power in the Fourth Republic but failed to deliver on their promises.

That, the PPP standard bearer, described as ?wasted votes.?

?But assuring that a vote for PPP is a vote for Incorruptible leadership, Education, Healthcare and Jobs.?

The PPP, Dr. Nduom affirmed, is the only political party with the Incorruptible Leadership, improved Education and Healthcare, and thousands of jobs desperately needed by our youth.?

From Kintampo, the team travelled to the Northern Region where it made whistle stops in Sankpala, Savelugu and Walewale.

At Sankpala, Dr. Nduom, while addressing the party?s polling station executives, told them that the party belonged to them.

He therefore charged them to work for victory in the December 7 polls. ?We must work hard with a sense of urgency to ensure that we make PPP a winner in the December polls,? he told PPP polling station executives in Sankpala.

The next stop after Sankpala was Savelugu where Dr. Nduom and his team were given a rousing welcome by residents in the area.

He seized the opportunity to urge voters in the area to vote for a competent and incorruptible leader with the best track record to improve the lot of Ghanaians.

When the team arrived at Walewale what was expected to be a gathering of PPP polling station executives witnessed an appreciable number of the residents in the area many of whom expressed willingness to join the party.

Addressing the gathering Dr. Nduom appealed to them to vote for the PPP and become part of the history that is beckoning Ghana. He said a PPP administration under his presidency will ensure that preventable diseases such as cholera, malaria are eradicated completely from the country.

He also assured them of using the state purchasing power to provide meaningful jobs for the teeming youth in the country.

This message resonated well with the crowd as many applauded the PPP flag bearer.

The team rounded up its campaign activities in Bolga in the Upper East Region.
