The standard bearer of the Progressive People?s Party (PPP), Papa Kwesi Nduom, has called on Ghanaian eligible voters to ?show the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) the red card? because of ?their spectacular  failures? in fulfilling countless electoral promises.
According to Dr. Nduom, who is also the ?Edwumawura,? one of the biggest examples of the failures of the two political parties in Ghana is in the area of creation of jobs.

In his opinion, creation of jobs has been a spectacular failure, indicating that ?we have not seen any creation of jobs in the country.?

Addressing a gathering youth at the party?s first ever musical concert dubbed ?Youth Rally for Jobs? at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Obra Spot, in Accra last Tuesday night Dr. Nduom appealed to the people to vote his government into office to ?bring progress to the people in the country.?
?My fellow Ghanaians, I want you to understand that when the NDC and the NPP get together there is always a fight. As for us in the PPP we stand for peace so we want to tell Ghanaians voters to vote the PPP to power so that the party will ensure peace and improve the socio-economic wellbeing of Ghanaians,? Dr. Nduom appealed to the joyful crowd.
The event was organised by the Progressive Youth Movement (PYM) ? the youth wing of the PPP.

He pointed out his party?s commitment to undertake major projects ?to accelerate development in all ten (10) regions of Ghana so that we can bring employment and jobs to the good people of this country.?
Reiterating his long-held campaign promise of free, compulsory and continuous quality education from kindergarten to Senior High School (SHS), thePPP flag bearer noted that under his government ?every single child in Ghana is going to have the opportunity to go to school and study something that will be of help to our country.?

For her party, the running mate to Dr. Nduom, Ms. Eva Naa Merley Lokko, assured that the PPP will create meaningful jobs for the teeming youth of this country.

The show, which brought to a climax one of the most successful campaigning ever waged in the history of this country, featured intermittent speeches from leading members of the party including the party?s the National Youth Leader, Divine Nkrumah, and the Volunteer Coordinator,  Nii Armah, and spokesperson for the Truth Squad, Alistair Tairo Nelson.
