Ghanaian boxer, Isaac Dogboe (21-2, 14KO’s), failed to reclaim his title, as he was stopped by Mexican boxer, Emanuel Navarrete (27-1, 22 KO’s) in round 12 in the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Super Bantamweight title at the Tucson Arena, Arizona, USA.

The ruthless Mexican boxer proved too strong for the Ghanaian boxer as his powerful right hand shot ended the contest which he dominated

The bout followed similar pattern to the first bout,as Dogboe was clueless in finding ways to avenge his terrible lose to the Mexican last December.

The championship started in blistering fashion with both boxers trading punches but Naverette punches looked the most effective.

Naverette took the early lead on the score cards but Dogboe intermittently contained Naverette with some counter punches and exciting combination but proved futile as the Mexican maintained the lead.

As the bout was about to end in Round 12, then came the big right hand from the Mexican which dropped the Ghanaian boxer for the second time in the fight.

Dogboe managed to beat the count, but was in no condition to continue, with his corner alerting the referee to stop the bout.
