Medeama striker Nathaniel Asamoah says personal glory must take a back seat for the club to triumph this season.

Asamoah is returning to his best after scoring 13 goals to lead the goal king chart on the domestic scene this term.

The former Asante Kotoko attacker, whose return to the local scene was blighted with recurrent injuries, has peaked at the right time for the Mauve and Yellows.

He has so far hit double-figures for the Tarkwa-based side as they chase three titles ? League, FA Cup and Elite Cup.

And the club?s leading marksman says he won?t be bothered to lose the individual award.

?I will not be disappointed because is a game and in as much as you score, your competitors will also score. So I will not be disappointed,? he told Accra-based Adom FM

?I just need to keep my focus and try and do my best for my Club in the remaining matches.?

Medeama host Bechem United on Wednesday at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park on match day-23 of the Ghana Premier League.
