Warrant of arrest

An immediate warrant of arrest of embatled Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of failing gold dealership company (Menzgold), has been issued by an Accra Circuit Court.

The warrant was signed and issued to the police on Wednesday 9th January, 2019, requiring the police to locate and arrest the four main directors of Menzgold, in the persons of Nana Appiah Mensah, Rose Tetteh, Benedicta Appiah, and Abigail Mensah.

According to the warrant, they were charged for defrauding by false pretence after months of failure to pay investors with Menzgold their entitlements, and as well as for money-laundering.

“You are hereby ordered in the name of the President forthwith to apprehend the said Nana Appiah Mensah and produce him before court,” As stated by the warrant.

Investigation shows that, the other three whose names appeared on the registration documents of Menzgold Ghana as Directors were relatives of Nana Appiah Mensah, where Rose Tetteh is his wife, Benedicta Appiah, his younger sister and Abigail Mensah, also his younger sister.
