Versatile actress Nana Ama Mcbrown has dispelled allegations that she is dead as speculated by a section of the public.
News went viral on social media on Thursday that the beautiful actress has died out of food poisoning while shooting a movie on set.
But speaking with Nana Hemaa on Abusua FM’s Abusua Mmre, she stated that it is a calculated efforts by some unknown persons to drag her name into the mud.
She indicated that she is alive and that she has been going about her duties, questioning why people will declare others dead when they are not.
According to her, she was returning home after working on her ‘aben’ show production when she received calls from her old friends enquiring if she was dead or alive.
‘You are indeed talking to me Nana Ama Mcbrown, I am not dead, I am alive, I am not sick, I am home with my husband now, I only had body aches but my husband Maxwell gave me a massage so am ok now. Its a calculated plan by some people to tarnish my image. I even went to work on Thursday to work on my ‘aben’ show production which is aired on UTV, I left home around 5:am and returned at 10:30-11pm. I hardly go on social media so I didn’t hear of the rumour. Why would people declare others dead when they are not, it is a taboo to do that. God is my protector and he is not going to kill prematurely now, all their efforts to drag me to my early grave will be in vain,’ she prayed.
She called on the public to desist from pronouncing people dead when they are alive, calling on the public especially her numerous fans across the country and abroad to disregard the claims.
