Ms Comfort Asante, the New Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, has advised Muslim parents to take advantage of the Free Senior High School (SHS) Policy and enroll their wards in school.

She said education held the key to development and it was the only means to propel their children to greater heights.

Ms Asante said this during the celebration of the Eid-Ul-Adha at the Koforidua Central Mosque.

She said the Government would start the construction of 51 factories this year under the One District One Factory programme to create 80,000 direct and indirect jobs.

She advised the Muslim Community to take up the challenge and position themselves to take full advantage of the numerous policies initiated by the Government to improve the living standards of the people.

Alhaji Yusif Amudani Sulemana, the Eastern Regional Chief Imam, called on the Government to reintroduce the provision of cattle to Muslim Communities during their celebrations.

He said prices of cattle had gone up and government’s support would help the poor to observe the Eid-Ul-Adha with satisfaction.
He advised other his Muslim brothers and sisters to give to one another to signify the love and unity associated with the celebration
