Gospel Music over the past few years has been on the rise, gaining huge airplays and breaking new bounds. Recently, a Gospel Musician won the overall Artiste of the year, a position which has seesawed between secular musicians for a very long time.

Breathing some fresh aura into the Gospel Music Ministry is Music Prophet, affectionately called MP. Known in Christian circles as Rev Nana Osei Bonsu, is a Pastor and a musician, who wishes to combine the urban contemporary form of Gospel music, which is dominantly sung in English, with the local Akan language, giving birth to an indigenous-contemporary genre of gospel music.

Despite being in the ministry for a while, MP wishes to officially import his music in the Ghanaian ear with the release of an 8-track maiden album titled, Give Him Grace.
