Mr Asante made the remarks during the first HR Interactive session held in Accra.

“HR Interactive” is an initiative by HR Focus, publishers of Ghana’s first HR magazine and organizers of the HR Focus Awards.

The event was aimed at improving the relationship between employees and employers in various organisations in the country and having won three awards including the Overall Best organization in HR practice in the 2015 HR Focus Awards, MTN Ghana was selected to host the first edition of the HR Interactive session.

Dr Helen Hagan, CEO of L’aine Services said HR practice in Ghana is encouraging, although there is so much unchartered territory to be explored and adapted to the benefit of organisations.

She described the interactive session as “where HR Meets, Leads and Innovates”.

Mrs Amma Benneh-Amponsah, the Human Resource Executive of MTN Ghana urged participants to make good use of technology to enhance their performance.

She said, “In this digital world you have to consider Technology as your best partner. Technology can help you communicate, engage, manage people better”.

Prior to the interactive session, participants were taken on a tour of the MTN House and participants expressed excitement regarding the many initiatives taken to ensure the holistic well-being of employees.

The occasion was also used to officially launch the HR Conference to be held in September.
