Chinese Multi-National Tech Firm, Lenovo, through its subsidiary, Motorola Mobility has released the World’s thinnest premium smartphone called : “Moto Z” unto the Ghanaian market.

The Moto Z is made from military aircraft – grade aluminium and stainless steel. This stunning new Moto Z is durable-yet- razor thin measured at 5.2 mm which is supper ultra-light and also with a 5.5” Quad HD AMOLED display.

It is also incredibly powerful packing a Qualcomm® Snapdragons 820 Processor, 4GB of RAM and32 GB or 64 GB of storage inside. In addition, the user can get more space for pictures, video and apps by adding a micro SD card up to 2 Terabytes.

The Moto Z handset is robust, affordable and comes with 2700 Mh turbo power long-life battery, 2.15 Quad-core Processor, 4GB RAM +32GB ROM, Dual rear camera and 13MP/5MP Hd Camera.

Speaking at the launching ceremony in Accra , the Country Manager of Lenovo, John Peters Adekpe ,noted that since MTN is the leading telecommunications service provider, they decided to partnership with them in order to introduce this excellent product to the target audience across Ghana in a much easier and faster way.

“Today, the premium Moto Z and the Moto Mods are being unveiled. We will also launch the Moto G5, Moto C Plus , Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus into Ghanaian market,” he disclosed.
This said, in order to ensure that they address the need of all class of people in the market, they have phones for all and sundry.

“The price range is for the Moto Z is about 2500GHC, while the rest of our products is under 1000GHC,” he mentioned.
According to him, they launched their products around the world in Africa, particularly in Egypt , Algeria, Kenya and South Africa.
Our plan is to launch in the West African market over the next few months, kicking off in Ghana.

“We are happy the brand is back , bigger and better and we are focused on bringing the gap that ensued as a result of its absence over they year’s”, he stated

The General Manager, Consumer Marketing , MTN Ghana Mr. Noel Kojo Gamson hinted that MTN will support users of the Moto Z handset .
This he said, every MTN customer who purchases Moto Z will enjoy a 2.5 GB data bundle from MTN every month for six months.

According him, they have partnered several phone manufacturers to offer different phones with unique value propositions that suit the varying lifestyles of their valued customers.

This is to ensure our customers have available to them the enabled handsets to enjoy the 4G service we rolled out in June 2016. By doing this we are taking steps to fulfill our digital agenda.

For those of you who have experienced our 4G service, you know it comes with movement flexibility, faster speed and quick downloads and uploads. Live streaming, efficient video calling and faster Internet access on-the-go are only a few of the digital benefits MTN’s 4G subscribers enjoy.

In addition to the 475 4G sites we deployed in 2016, we are deploying another 197 4G sites this year, while we continue to invest in 3G, fibre and other technologies.

The Moto Z is the fifth handset MTN is introducing this year and there are many more in the pipe line.
