Speaking at MTN Apps Challenge Version 4.0 Awards Night in Accra, the Chief Marketing Officer(CMO) Mr. Asher Khan, noted that the Apps Challenge forms part of the MTN Group’s aim to grow the App developer community in Africa and increase local content across its footprint.

“We may not be moving as fast as developers in the developed world but we believe that gradually we will catch up with the rest of the world in growing our economy through digital projects.
To take this effort to its logical next step, MTN has partnered with industry experts to commercialize viable Apps Challenge projects through the strategic initiative called Katapult.
