The NPP Member of Parliament for Weija Constituency Mrs Shirey Ayorko Botchwey has rebuffed claims by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ga South Hon. Jerry Acquaye Thompsom that she has failed the people of Weija as a Parliamentarian.

The? Municipal? Chief? Executive? for Ga south? Hon. Jerry Acquaye? Thompsom? has accused?? the sitting MP of failing the people? of Weija? inspite of the numerous? campaing? promises she? offered? them during the last past election.

But? the MP, Mrs Shirey Ayorko? Botchwey has come? out? to condemm?? the MCE?? stressing? that? her achievements? are evident? in the constituency? and they? speak for themselves.

She mentioned? amenities? like the newly? constructed Odokor? Basic? school, extension? of? Amamfrom? Hospital, Ambulance car for Ga South , extension? of electricity at? Abelekuma, Olubu, Panto, Nsufan as some of her acheivemsnts.

She also indicated that she has construted?? A-lan road drainage projets at Tabora and curently in the process of contruting the Santa Maria Bridge.

She? said? she has given scholarship ?to many students? in the constituency? both secondary and Tertiary, completed? of Gbewe police station? and also? offered free? vocational school? since 2005.

According to her, there are many? people? who passed out from the training programmes with good certificates that enabled them to have decent jobs.

Speaking in an interview she pointed out that she has done what she could for her constituency.

She? rather accused? the? MCE? of propagating? false information? as means? of winning the mandate? of? the people? come December 7, indicating that she has done a lot for the constituency? which is appreciated? by the people.

She? therefore called on the? people? in the constituency? to disregard?? the claims? by the MCE to? enable? her to continue? her good work, calling on the constituents to vote for her come December 7.
