The incumbent Member of Parliament for Sefwi Juaboso Constituency, Hon Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has commissioned an ultra-modern three-unit classroom block and handed it over to the Nana Ntaadu Senior High School at Sefwi Boinzan, in the Western North region of Ghana.

The former Deputy Minister of Land and Natural Resources who doubles as a ranking member on health, dispelled the NPP’s accusation of failing to contribute toward the constituency’s economic and physical development for the past 12 years as a member of parliament in the ticket of the National Democratic Congress.

During a media encounter, Hon Kwabena Mintah Akandoh said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) threw jabs at him to win the constituents’ favor and vote against him in the upcoming December elections. He urged his constituents to re-elect him and vote massively for former president John Dramani Mahama to return to power for Ghana’s positive transformation.

Nana Ofori Ahenkan II, Chief of Sefwi Boinzan, advised politicians and party sympathizers to avoid inciting violence when canvassing for votes to win elections, as such practices derail the country’s socio-economic development, unity, and desire for peace before, during, and after the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections.

The chief thanked Hon Kwabena Mintah Akandoh for the great impact that he has had on education, health, infrastructure, and many more in Ghana and the Sefwi Juaboso Constituency.

The MP organized a free eye screening and surgery for 200 constituents in July this year. This initiative was to address the pressing health issues in the constituency.

The eye care program, which included comprehensive eye screenings and subsequent surgeries for those in need, was spearheaded by a team of specialized ophthalmologists and medical volunteers.

The initiative targeted several eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and other vision impairments. It provided essential treatment to individuals who, otherwise, lacked access to such critical care.
