Motorola, internationally acclaimed mobile phone producer of many years standing, has launched the ?Moto G? device onto the Ghanaian market.

An outstanding product, it boasts of a relatively low price, considering its multifaceted functions.

It comes with a 4.5-inch High Definition (HD) display panel considered the sharpest in its class.

With an Android 4.4 kit kat, a dual sim support, a long battery life of up to twenty-four hours and a storage device of 8 Gigabites and 16 Gigabites, it is set to make an aggressive incursion on the market.

?Moto G,? unveiled for the first time in Africa, is expected to be sold in Ghana by Atlantic Phone, Union Mobile, Agile Telecommunication Services Limited and Izone, at a starting price of GH?650.00 and GH?700.

Javier Villamizar, President of Brightstar, global distributors of Motorola products, in a speech at the launch last Thursday, said the company was pleased to bring this advanced smartphone to consumers in Ghana.

He said the acceptance of ?Moto G? in North American and European markets had been phenomenal.

Mr. Ugo Ebi, Marketing Officer of Brightstar, said the phone had a gorilla glass, which means it cannot easily crack upon dropping.

Meanwhile, Noel Hammond, Managing Director (MD) of Agile Telecoms, described ?Moto G? as one of the greatest brands in the Motorola series.

?Motorola has gone into the incubator for a while and they have come out with a new life ? it is one of the greatest brands of Motorola,? he said.
