Hearts of Oak coach Mohammed Polo insists his team remain a work in progress despite the impressive 3-0 win over Amidaus Professionals.

Goals from Eric Kumi, Selasi Adjei and Robin Gnagne handed the Phobians their first home win in five months in the Ghanaian top flight.

The impressive win over Amidaus eases pressure on coach Mohammed Polo who has endured a bumpy ride since taking over from David Duncan late last year.

But the club legend says his team needs further improvement.

?I think it is a matter of time. When you are determined and focused you can achieve anything but it?s a gradual process,? Polo said after the game on Sunday.

?You don?t expect things to take shape instantly so we have to keep working.

?But I want to thank the players for their determination today.?

Hearts remain a staggering 12 points behind leaders Asante Kotoko but vitally with a game in hand in the Ghana Premier League.
