BRIEF PROFILE OF MOHAMMED MUNKAELU JUNIOR, ATTIAH

Junior as he humbly wishes to be called is a professionally trained teacher from Gbewaah Training College.

After his secondary school days at Bolgatanga Secondary School (BIG BOSS), he had his degree in BA (Hons) Social and Development Administration and Mphil Development Studies both from the University of Development Studies (UDS) and a past Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) President.

He has also completed FHD University in Management, before becoming Executive Director of Pade Net (Gh), and has also worked with Vision Revenue Company as head of operations.

He has undertaken research work for UDS, CCFC and others as well as participated in many international seminars like the FIFA Com-Unity Seminar For Grassroots in 2009 and Global Humanitarian Summit 2012 in USA.

Also a former player, coach and referee in the Upper East Region, Junior at a time branched into media and was Sports News Anchor for Style FM and Radio Progress in Upper East and West respectively.

He is a homeboy in the upper part of Ghana as he schooled, stayed and worked in Bongo, Paga, Bawku, Pusiga, Chiana, Winkongo and Bolga.

At the GES schools level, Junior was the sports master for Umaria JHS (2002 – 2004) and one of the Bolga district and regional coaches working under the great regional soccer coach Mr. Peter Abilba.

He coached Upper Stars, founded Bolga Maugel Ladies that gave Ghatel Ladies a tough time on the field.

Junior worked with the largest football academy in the world (ASPIRE FOOTBALL ACADEMY) as Sports Manager under their ASPIRE FOOTBALL DREAMS Ghana project.

He has led in the restructuring of many football clubs like Bazuka FC, Okwahu United, Bofoakwa, etc in Ghana and managed some and he is a member of the Gambibgo Ashford FC and others.

He was administrative head of Tamale Liberty FC and later CEO of Northern Ladies FC a female club playing in the womens’ premier league.

Junior Mohammed is a team player, transparent and accountable, dedicated to purpose, dependable, trustworthy, resilience, able to make capable and effective decisions, able to prioritize, manage task and tolerant of divergent views.

A vote for Junior is a vote for reformation and progress for the Upper East and Ghana.
