A Kumasi Circuit Court presided over by Mr William Boampong has sentenced a driver?s mate to 12 months imprisonment in hard labour over mobile phone theft.

Kwabena Ofori, who is aged18, was convicted after he pleaded guilty to the crime.

He had snatched the phone, a Samsung Galaxy, valued at GH?1,700.00 from Mr Eric Owusu Dankwah, as he received a call, whilst driving.
