The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah on Saturday 8th September, 2018 paid a working visit to MinosAgri, a tractor and Agricultural machinery manufacturing and assembling company in Izmir, Turkey.

The deputy minister and his team were met by the International Business Relations director, Mr. Kaan Sen and the Director of Domestic Trade of the company.

The company expressed interest in setting up an assembling plant in Ghana to serve the West Africa and the Africa markets as a whole.

In addition, the director in charge of domestic trade of the company stated their interest to be part of government’s program to improve Agriculture through technology and mechanisation.

Mr. Ahenkorah on his part assured MinosAgri of the support of the government to enable them establish their plant in Ghana.

He re-emphasised on the political stability of the nation, the comparatively impressive economic growth for the last couple of years among other African countries and the government’s investment drive towards industrial transformation that is shaped and captured in incentive packages.
