The National under-23, the Black Meteors, have qualified to the next stage of the qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, despite losing to Togo in the return leg on Saturday.

The Meteors, lost by a lone goal in the second leg played in Lome, Togo, but relied heavily on their first leg win in Ghana to see progress.

Kossi Anika’s goal for Togo was not enough to overturn the 5-1 win over the West African neighbors by Ghana in the first leg.

The lone victory by Togo, saw Ghana progressing with a 5-2 aggregate.
