She said in the month of September, at about 1700 hours, the eight year old victim was watching television with her friends in the room of her uncle known as Peter, when the accused suddenly entered and sacked her to go and take her bath.

Prosecution said accused later forced entry into the bathroom and had sexual intercourse with her there.

The Prosecution said three days later, the second victim complained of pains in her private part when she was being bathed by the mother in the morning.

She said after questioning her what caused the pain, the victim mentioned the name of the accused to the mother and even went further and for the first time divulged what accused did to her sister previously.

She said the complainant immediately made a complaint to the Foase Police, which led to the arrest of the accused.

The prosecution said Police medical report form was issued for the examination and treatment of the victims and this was returned endorsed by a medical officer at the Suntreso Government Hospital, confirming their defilement.

Madam Quaye said the accused confessed to the crime and was therefore charged and brought before the Court.
