Mas-ud Dramani future at Kotoko is uncertain

Ibrahim Sunday Warns Kotoko Against Sacking Coach Dramani

Ex- Kotoko great Ibrahim Sunday claims it will be the biggest joke of the century if coach Mas-ud Dramani is sacked at the end of the season.

The future of Dramani has been hugely speculated in the local media with reports claiming the club will relieve the CAF instructor of his duties even if he wins the double.

But the 1971 African Footballer of the Year claims it will be the biggest joke of the century if the top hierarchy of the club dispense with the services of the former Ghana Under-17 female national team coach.

Sunday told Sunyani-based Suncity Radio: ?The coach (Dramani) is worried, he?s a very worried person now and talks to me everyday?.

?It is very true they are putting pressure on him and wants him to leave the team or they sack him from his job. But I don?t really understand what the situation is at the club as I talk now?.

?The boy is performing and winning his matches and currently one of the best coaches in Ghana and even teaches some of the big men in the country about the game so Kotoko is very privileged to have him.

?He has even performed above expectations because the management lied to the fans in the first place by making them believe a team that was so depleted could win the African cup?.

?You sell all your big players and you put pressure on the coach to win the African cup within his first year? That is absurd, he fumed.

He continued: ?I dare the management to sack him and bring whoever they wish to bring and I tell them they will regret forever for that decision because whoever they bring will be a failure from the start.?

Dramani could end this season by winning the double having qualified to  final of the MTN FA Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors also lie at the top of the table with two games to end the current campaign.
