Olympique Marseille are reported in the English press to have accepted a ?4m from Reading for striker Jordan Ayew.

The 20-year-old is being sold to the promoted English side in order to gain regular first team action ? something that cannot be guaranteed at Marseille under coach Elie Baup.

Marseille Executives were reported to have spent last night in London trashing out deals for some of its players while also negotiating for incomings.

A deal to sell defender Cesar Azpilicueta to Chelsea is reported to have been struck which will see Gael Kakuta move the opposite direction.

Marseille are also looking to sell Stephane Mbia to QPR while looking to take ?bad boy? Joey Barton on a season-long loan deal.

It was during the negotiations for Barton that OM officials were reported to have accepted Reading?s bid for Jordan Ayew.

The last son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele has struggled to land regular games at the Stade Velodrome despite putting in some eye-catching performances.

He impressed for Ghana during the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations but new manager Elie Baup revealed he cannot guarantee regular first team action to the talented forward ? prompting reports of his Marseille exit.
