— The Ethiopian Ministry of Health on Monday launched a five-year Health Sector Transformation Plan (HSTP) that aims to ensure better and fair access to health services.

–Ethiopia will supply potash to the global market within the coming four years, according to the Ethiopian Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Natural Gas.

Studies showed the existence of more than 100 million tons of potash deposit around Dalol region, Afar regional state, made Ethiopia the third country in the world to have the mineral. –Ethiopia’s horticulture sector has generated more than 185 million U.S. dollars in the last eight months, showing a 17 percent increase year on year, according to the Ethiopian Horticulture Development Agency.

–The Benishangul-Gumuz regional State in Ethiopia is preparing for the grand celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam project.
