Just when we thought it was all over, someone decided to switch back time. Just when they seemed to have thrown away the Barclays Premier League, Manchester City woke up and remembered that they are a fairly decent side.

It may still not too late, of course. The great enemies of city of Old Trafford remain Favorites to win this Championship. But after the horrors of Stoke, Sunderland and Arsenal, Roberto Mancini of type and brushed aside West Bromwich team returned without breaking sweat.

As city ambled to victory, there was even a goal for Carlos Tevez on the occasion of his first start since September. That came on the hour after Sergio Aguero-a more reliable South American striker had scored in either half to put them-two objectives.

With Mario Balotelli suspended after his afternoon of madness at the Emirates, it was clear that Mancini would have to change things up front. Tevez had returned since the contribution from his exile was limited to cameo by the bank. Here, his first real chance to Show City was finally what they have missed.
