Malawi looks to Mhango to destroy Ghana in 2013 AFCON qualifier Gabadinhon Mhango

Malawi are looking to young striker Gabadinho Mhango?to inspire the Flames to their first ever win over Ghana on Saturday.

The 20-year-old attacker is being touted as the silent weapon which can do all the damage to the Black Stars in the first leg of the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Mhango has however had to work very hard to earn the full faith of coach Kinnah Phiri who until now has been using the talented player sparingly.

He has been the main threat for the Flames in their last two games especially in July?s 1-0 win over African champions Zambia where he made the assist for Joseph Kamwendo?s winner.

The Big Bullets attacker has seen an impressive surge in his club form this term and the Malawians believe he can make the difference if he manages to translate it to the Flames in Saturday?s game.

Malawi is also buoyed by the 0-0 result achieved against Ghana in a friendly game two years ago.

They are however reminded of their worst defeat in their football history handed them back in 1962 where the Black Stars thrashed them 12-o ahead of the 15:30 GMT kickoff on Saturday.
