The Ashanti Regional Minister-designate Simon Osei-Mensah has assured that unfinished road projects embarked on by the erstwhile Mahama-led administration in the region will be continued.
“I have made an indication earlier that all ongoing projects, we will look at them and continue with them. So, if there is an ongoing road project in Asawase, definitely it is included,” he promised.
The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwe called on Ghanaians to support the government in ensuring that the one-district-one-factory policy becomes a reality to provide jobs for the teeming unemployed youth in the region and the country as a whole.
“We all have to pray and support the government to ensure that this one-district-one-factory will be a reality in every district and then more jobs will be created. As we increase the employment generation capacities of people, you are at the same time increasing the income capacity of these people and movement will be minimised or totally curtailed,” he pleaded during his turn today at the Appointments Committee of Parliament.
