Africa’s largest inter-governmental organisation, a showcase for regional integration is initiating the launch of ECOWAS’ 50th anniversary festivities this Tuesday 22 April in Accra (Ghana) in the presence of Heads of State and leaders of member countries.
A series of events will mark the celebrations. The ECOWAS Golden Jubilee logo and theme will be presented.
Artistic and cultural performances retracing the history of ECOWAS from its creation in Lagos to its major successes and achievements in member states will be organised.
