The first African minifootball championship kicked off in Tripoli on Saturday, with the participation of eight teams.

The tournament takes place in Tripoli’s Al-Madina Football Club stadium over one week.

The participating teams are Libya, Cote d’Ivoire, Somalia, Ghana, Senegal, Tunisia, South Africa and Nigeria.

The top four teams will compete in the third minifootball World Cup in 2019. Enditem
