The Sadauna of Central Region, Alhaji Abdul Karim Musa has commended Muslims and Christians in the country for learning to live in peace and harmony with one another, irrespective of their religious, ethnic and tribal differences.

He said this level of tolerance among Ghanaians has made the country the eye of the world, as it has remained a safe haven for people whose countries have experience one form of war or another because of conflicts.

Alhaji Abdul Karim Musa who was speaking at the celebration of Eidl-Adar in Agona Swedru pointed out that the peace enjoyed by Ghanaians cannot be compromised for anything, considering the mayhem suffered by some at the hands of some selfish individuals in the name of religion in other parts of the continent.

He however commended former presidents Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kuffuor and John Dramani Mahama for championing this course, and also called on president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to follow suit to hold the country’s peace torch high before the rest of the world.
