Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been asked to exercise restraint when the Supreme Court gives its ruling on Sir John and Hopeson Adorye.

General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, also known as ?Sir John? as well as Hopeson Adorye, a member of the Communication team of the same party will be appearing before the Supreme Court today to answer to contempt charges.

In about an hour or so, the President of the nine justices of the Supreme Court, Justice William Atuguba will be giving out his ruling when the duo appears before him and the other justices.

In view of this, Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has asked members of the NPP that ?whatever happens in court, good or unpleasant, they should exercise restraint. They should know that we are dealing with law and with the highest court of the land. Assuming that it turns out to be bad news, they should exercise restraint and go along with what the court says?.

Speaking to Kwami Sefa-Kayi on Wednesday?s edition of ?Kokrokoo?, he said if the party is able to conduct itself well as far as the contemptuous case is concerned,? it will go a long way to help the party?s image? that they are law abiding?.
