Kwadwo Asamoah's Juventus future in doubt
Kwadwo Asamoah Is At Risk Of A Juventus Clear-out This Summer

Kwadwo Asamoah?s Juventus future has come into great doubt after manager Antonio Conte made a request for as many as eight new signings be made this summer.

Conte?s request was accepted by the club?s board in a crunch three-hour meeting on Wednesday night as a pre-requisite to have him sign a long term contract.

It was agreed at the end of the meeting the 43-year-old who has guided the Bianconeri to two back-to-back Serie-A titles will sign a new deal worth ?5m a season until 2016.

Conte however made it clear only Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba will not be sold under his reign ? leaving all other players including Ghana international Asamoah widely open for a Juventus exit this summer.

With as many as eight players expected to be signed in the off-season, it is very much conceivable some members of the championship winning squad will be let go to create the needed space and also to balance the financial books of the club.

A deal is yet to be agreed for the full ownership of Kwadwo Asamoah who only arrived at the start of the season from Udinese.

His stuttering form in the second half of the season after an explosive start has heightened doubts in the minds of Juventus directors of his endured quality.

He is thus at risk of exiting the Old Lady only after one successful season.

Asamoah will however not be short of destinations as many top European clubs will be interested to snap him once his availability is made public.
