Kwadwo Asamoah battling Kalilou Traore for the ball in midfield

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah expects the Black Stars to come good at the next Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco in two years time.

The Juventus ace believes Ghana did well by finishing fourth at the 2013 finals in South Africa-although many fans expected the trophy.

Asamoah scored a screamer as the Black Stars were beaten 3-1 by Mali on Saturday in the third-place playoff.

Despite finishing the tournament without a medal, the 25-year-old is happy his teammates were among the best four teams.

?I congratulate my colleagues for their performance at the tournament. We did our best to reach this position,? Asamoah said.

?It was not easy getting this far. With the spirit in the team, we will get better if we continue.?
