Asante Kotoko will play their penultimate Premier League match against AshantiGold on Sunday at the Sekondi Essipong Stadium, GHANAsoccernet.com has learnt.

The decision to play in Sekondi was taken by the Ghana FA and has been duly communicated to Kotoko.

The champions have been banned indefinitely from using their home stadium in Kumasi due to crowd trouble a few weeks ago in a Premier League match against Medeama SC.

Kotoko played their last home game in Sunyani but have now been directed to play their penultimate match against AshantiGold ? the big regional derby away from Kumasi.

The club, according to information reaching GHANAsoccernet.com have accepted to play at the Essipong Stadium and are already making plans towards Sunday?s game in the Western Region.

Kotoko are looking to defend their top flight crown this term and currently lead the race on just goal difference going into the last two games of the season.
