Daniel Nii Adjei wants to join TP Mazembe

Kotoko are struggling to hold onto midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei after TP Mazembe slapped in a bid to sign him.

The four-time African champions have tabled a mouth-watering offer for the influential enforcer after he impressed heavily for the Porcupine Warriors last season.

Kotoko are yet to accept the proposal but reports emerging from Kumasi indicate that the player is desirous of jumping to the offer.

It is unclear if the Ghanaian champions will allow their prize asset to go, with just days for the start of the new soccer season and their participation in next year?s Caf Champions League.

But the Congolese giants are hoping they could entice the former Power FC player as they hope to quadruple his wages.

Adjei, who recently signed a two-year contract extension at the club has also been linked with clubs in Tunisia, Ukraine and the gulf.

Mazembe has also tabled $200,000 offer to sign defender Yaw Frimpong.
