The Neonatal intensive care unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital has been without water for three days.

Nurses at the unit now run around the hospital in search of water to be used at the facility.

Ultimate News’ Daniel Nii Lartey who visited the facility reported that the taps used at the facility had ran dry.

According to a source at the unit, the water has been flowing occasionally but for the past three days it has been erratic.

Mr. Nii Lartey quotes a member of the public relations unit of the hospital as saying ”the problem is a general situation around Korle-Bu and it’s environs and the hospital has poly tanks it relies on for water supply and therefore health delivery has not been affected”.

The Hospital has however refused to officially speak on record about the situation.
