Kkma Present Motor Bikes

The Kpone- Katamanso Municipal Assembly (KKMA) has presented 30 motorbikes to local Assembly Members to enhance their mobility within their electoral areas.

During a short ceremony to hand over the motorbikes to the Assembly Members, Mr. Solomon Tetteh Appiah, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) noted that the delivery of the motorbikes to the Assembly by the National Association of Local Government (NALAG), was very timely.

He added that, Assembly Members were faced with the challenge of reaching out to their electorates in remote areas where most vehicles find it difficult to go.

The MCE charges them to take good care of the motorbikes.

Receiving the Motorbikes on behalf of the Assembly Members, Mr. Daniel Buckson Cudjo, Presiding Member of KKMA, expressed gratitude to NALAG for the motorbikes.

He gave the assurance that the Assembly Members would put the motorbikes to good use.

Mrs Agnes Owuradu, a government appointee to the KKMA, told the Ghana News Agency in an interview that, there were many bad roads within the Municipality which hindered the work of the Assembly Members.
