Emmanuel Antwi -Darkwa has been appointed as caretaker Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Volta River Authority (VRA) by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Mr Antwi-Darkwa whose appointment takes effect Monday, February 6, 2017 succeeds Engineer Kirk Koffi.

Mr Koffi who was appointed by the Mahama-led administration has been in that capacity as CEO since 2013.

‘It is announced for the information of all staff that His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana has appointed Mr. Emmanuel Antwi-Darkwa as caretaker CEO of the Volta River Authority,’ A circular signed by the Deputy Chief Executive for VRA, Richmond Evans Appiah and copied to staff of VRA said.
