Kumasi based King Faisal football club is up for sale, as reported by webiste footy-ghana.com.

According to the report the owner of the club Alhaji Abdul Karim Grunsah has put a $2 million price tag on the embattled club.

?Grunsah has found it increasingly difficult to stem the rising levels of liabilities at the club, including unpaid salaries and match winning bonuses due to lack of funds.

The report also alleges that some players have still not received their signing-on fees months after agreeing to play for the club.

King Faisal football club has produced some of the finest Ghanaian footballers. Retired Ghanaian international, Samuel Osei Kufour, has strong links with the club and has over the years been donating funds to the club.
