The Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF) has  expressed shock and sadness at the killing of several persons in Katsina on Thursday by unknown gunmen, urging security agencies to do all that is humanly possible to stop the senseless killing of innocent citizens across the country.
The Governor of Niger State and Chairman of the Forum, Babangida Aliyu expressed the forum?s deepest commiseration to the families of the victims, saying no grievance can justify such wicked act against defenseless citizens.
In a statement signed by Governor Aliyu?s Chief Press Secretary, Danladi Ndayebo, the forum also condemned the reported killing of 30 Tiv farmers and destruction of property by Fulani herdsmen in Benue State, describing it as one attack too many.
